Job Summary

Symbia Logistics is seeking an experienced Recruiter to assist our production facility in recruiting for hourly and supervisor positions. Primary responsibilities will include sourcing candidates and screening resumes from those who apply for job postings online. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with Government Agencies to find qualified, hard-working and dedicated candidates for open positions for our South East region (AL, FL, NC, SC & VA). These include hourly and supervisory positions.
  • Identify Government agencies that have a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Establish a working relationship with the agency to get the job posted. Review qualifications of applicants, conduct prescreening interviews, schedule interviews with the plant management.
  • Hold job fair on site to accept applications, and prescreen candidates.
  • Use various social media avenues to post the open positions.
  • This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years recruiting or job development
  • Relevant experience utilizing  job boards and social media to identify candidates (REQUIRED)
  • Experience working in production environment is ideal
  • Self-starter and ability to juggle multiple tasks
