Office Manager

The responsibility of the Office Manager is to organize and coordinate office operations and procedures while achieving quality standards and accuracy on all reporting. Ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety within a manufacturing setting.

Outcomes

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll reports; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Achieve, at least, 97% accuracy in all reporting.
  • Keeps site manager informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends and daily communication.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Serve as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shopping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments and deliveries.
  • Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Design and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Competencies

  • High School diploma
  • 3-5 years of office management experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Computer skills including Microsoft word and excel
  • Ability to print, scan and fax
  • Phone skills
  • Clear communication
  • Take messages and pass along information efficiently

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, preferred

Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening
Must be eligible to work in the US, Participating Employer in E-Verify
