The Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition is accountable, as a leader on the Symbia Logistics’ (Symbia) Executive Team, to rapidly scale-up both our Human Resources (HR) and Recruiting capacities, so that our capabilities in hiring are world class, sourcing A-Players who know how to operate in a highly professional manner. In order to foster an environment consistent with the company mission and values, the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition is responsible for development and implementation of policies, programs, legal compliance, recruiting and strategic organizational development.
You will provide the leadership, vision, planning and execution in the effective formulation and management of the Human Resources department. Keeping pace with our significant growth, you will ensure that the Human Resources department maintains compliance with all labor regulations while also helping to facilitate efficient operations to meet business needs.
You will take ownership and lead all aspects of the recruiting and HR processes, driving Symbia into a more proactive and effective recruiting function with a focus on scalability and quality. You will take the lead on major projects such as employer branding, on/off board process design and implementing, talent mapping, and much more. You’ll have all departments working side-by-side to smoothly transition the onboarding of the new hires you’ve shepherded through the interview process into production and into a positive experience working at Symbia, long-term. You will also be responsible for filling key executive and professional positions.
